- Does a small clinic really need biomedical waste authorization?
- Yes — even small clinics need documented biomedical waste authorization. EMC can support this with or without regular waste collection, depending on the clinic's waste volume.
- Is regulatory authorization the same as arranging waste collection?
- No — they are distinct. Regulatory authorization and waste collection/vendor arrangements are different matters; collection, transportation, treatment and disposal are carried out by the authorized service provider, coordinated separately from the authorization itself.
